A MassTransit message bus interface for SQL Server Reporting Services.
Idea by Jahn Swob (@jahn-swob), implemented by Jeff Sharp (@sharpjs).
Experimental. Currently, only report execution is implemented.
First, copy the application files to a suitable directory. A good choice would
be C:\Program Files\RSMassTransit
. Then, edit the RSMassTransit.exe.config
file as required.
RSMassTransit runs as a normal console application if invoked by a logged-on user. It will exit on the first keypress.
RSMassTransit.exe
Otherwise, RSMassTransit runs as a Windows service. To install the service:
RSMassTransit.exe /install
To uninstall the Windows service:
RSMassTransit.exe /uninstall
To run RSMassTransit as a console application in a non-interactive context, such as an Azure Web Job:
RSMassTransit.exe /console
- Requirements:
- Visual Studio 2017
