YATE

YATE (Yet anoter Text Editor) - WPF RichTextBox Extension

YATE is short project to extend RichTextBox with some features from WebBrowser control. WebBrowser control is very good for editing and parse HTML input from clipboard but it is not compatibile with WPF Layout.

Current Downloads:

YATE v1.01 Release: Source Code (zip)

YATE v1.01 Release: Source Code (tar.gz)

MainWindow

In this situation I would like to present you YATE.

Yate is based on project Document.Editor from: https://documenteditor.codeplex.com/. Instead of using HTMLToXMLConverter, the Yate convert direct to FlowDocument. Old conversion doesn't support many features from HTML (like other size types, color types , etc..).

This is not and never will be full HTML conversion to FlowDocument but it helps to work with this type of input.

In this control you can:

  • Paste HTML input from clipboard with formatting, images, tables like in WebBrowser.

INSERT

  • Automatically recognize URL
  • Paste Images, by one command.
  • Resizing Images

RESIZE

  • Many commands for edit RichTextBox.
  • Good looking Toolbar with MahApps.Metro style.
  • Export to (.XAML,.XPS,.PDF)
  • Table Operations

CREATE

TABLE

  • Print Preview

TABLE

  • Search TextBox

TABLE

Icons/Style

YATE use style and icons from project Mahapss.Metro. https://github.com/MahApps/MahApps.Metro
