The purpose of the pill press program is to oversee the execution of the Pill Press and Related Equipment Control Act, which is to prevent organized crime from having access to pill presses through the implementation of the Act that limits access to such equipment to legitimate users, and tracks controlled equipment through its life cycle. The project is to build a case management system on Dynamics to register and track the pill press and related equipment. This is one of the initiatives to combat the drug (fentanyl) crisis.
