Twinkle uses Twitter REST API to interact with the Twitter server via HTTP protocol. Twitter Streaming API allows to receive new tweets in real time.

OAuth protocol is used to provide an application with access to a user account without the need to enter username and password directly.

The project was created as a coursework.
