The target resources are in the Microsoft Azure cloud, so the essential system requirements are minimal for students taking the course. Microsoft Azure resources are not free but trial accounts are available that will include enough resources to complete this course (less some more expensive experiences, like those related to App Service Environments and premium services).
Hardware Requirements
For successful completion of this course, students will require the computer systems with at least the following:
· OS: Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2016 are highly recommended; Windows 7: possible, but with limitations on Docker side
· RAM: 8 GB
· CPU: 4CPU
· Storage: 15GB free space for software, code and scripts
The computer may be a physical machine with Hyper-V, or a virtual machine (in Microsoft Azure, for example) supporting nested virtualization
