Android Application which serves as tourist assistant

Travelogue folder contains Android code and WcfService folder contains C# code which was used to program REST web service for different purposes.

• Created an Android application that assists tourist by suggesting nearby places to visit within Gujarat state of India, routes to and from, integration with Facebook to upload photos and status update, Geo-tagging photos, allows user to suggest new places.

• Also suggest the weather condition of the destination place and is it safe to travel on that particular day or not.

• A tourist can explore and get the information of more than 70 tourists places of Gujarat.

• Using Android SDK (KitKat), Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server.
