vso.io is a short URL for accessing Visual Studio Online work items. It makes it easy to quickly access a work item in your web browser or share a link to a work item with your team.

Requests in the format http://<account>.vso.io/<work item> will be redirected to https://<account>.visualstudio.com/DefaultCollection/_workitems/edit/<work item>.

vso.io also has a bookmarklet, which you can install in your web browser. When viewing a work item on Visual Studio Online, simply click the bookmarklet and a window will appear with a shortened URL that you can then copy to your clipboard.
