PluginLoader adds support for IronPython plugins and plain C# scripts to Interstellar Rift from Split Polygon.
When a new game version is published, try to repatch. It will probably work. If not, I'll do my best to release new version ASAP.
Only server-side hooks work for now. Client-side is under development and will be in one of next releases. We want to be sure it is working properly without too much fiddling with files(on client).
For more info see Example Plugins.
Release contains:
Patcher.exe
PatcherGUI.exe
For console interface run Patcher.exe
For graphical interface run PatcherGUI.exe
- When asked, provide path to game executables(eg.
Steam/steamapps/common/Interstellar Rift/Build/
) - Start server with the new executable >
IR -server
- You should see something like this:
- Locate Interstellar Rift user-related data directory. It's something like
%appdata%/InterstellarRift/
- Check if plugins directory exists. If not, create it.
- Copy folder with plugin into plugins directory.
- You should see something like this(sorry for weird language):
- Content:
Name of plugin folder(ConsoleExtension in this case) is not important. You can name it as you wish.
Please note that if plugin folder does not contain valid __init__.py
and plugin.json
, it will not be loaded!
We are currently working on some basic API docs for Python. For more game API info use ILspy or JustDecompile. Both IR and PL are still under heavy development, be patient please!
