MxitConnectionHelper is a C# helper for Mxit that takes care of connection handling and reconnection logic for C# based Mxit Applications. Since version 2, the Helper also includes REST API support.

This is the second version of this module. With version 2.0.0 we have included support for REST Authentication as well as the REST Messaging API, specifically the REST /message/send feature. See the description of the SharpConnectionHelper.cs or RESTConnectionHelper.cs classes for descriptions of how to use this helper module.

For transparency and insight into our development cycle, and for striving to maintain backward compatibility, MxitConnectionHelper will be maintained under the Semantic Versioning guidelines as much as possible.

Releases will be numbered with the following format:

<major>.<minor>.<patch>

And constructed with the following guidelines:

• Breaking backward compatibility bumps the major (and resets the minor and patch)
• New additions without breaking backward compatibility bumps the minor (and resets the patch)
• Bug fixes and misc changes bumps the patch
