It's a component for SharePoint 2010 portal that adds calendar for upcoming Events (such as IT conferences, Users Groups, Webinars, etc.). Project consists of 3 main components:

• Events Calendar (Extended version of SharePoint calendar);
• Events Subscribers (List of users who wants to receive notifications about newly created and upcoming events);
• Events Notification sender (Timer which sends notifications for subscribed users) [Not Yet Implemented];

The most interesting part of the project - 'HumanResources.EventsCalendar.Services'. It contains example of implementation Data Access and Business Logic layers for SharePoint solutions.
