PicView is a fast and Open Source Image Viewer for Windows, with configurable interface and image galleries.

Portable, free to use. No pop-ups, no installtation required, no registry edits or system files changed.

If you have 7-Zip or WinRAR installed, you can view images inside archives, such as .zip, .rar, etc, and comic book archives (.cbr, .cb7, .cbt, .cbz, .cba).

Switch between image scaling modes;

Pressing 1 Centers the image in the window, while retaining the image's original size.
Pressing 2 Also centers the image in the window, but the image will be stretched to window height, while retaining aspect ratio.

Pressing 3 enables the auto window sizing feature. It will resize the window to the image's size, while keeping the window centered.
Pressing 4 also enables the window sizing feature, but the image will be stretched to the monitor's height, while retaining aspect ratio.

Integrated color tool to quickly pick a color from the shown image.

Quickly crop images by pressing C.

Drag and drop from files Windows explorer or your browser. You can also hold Ctrl to drag currently viewed image to your file system.

A choice between dark theme and light theme can be found in the settings menu F4, along with 12 highlight colors to choose from.

The interface can be toggled to just show the image by pressing Alt + Z. The hover buttons and the colored window border can be toggled on/off in the settings window.

For images with a transparent background, the background can be changed to a checkerboard background, a dark background or a white background by pressing T.

Choose between 26 different shader effects, including negative colors, old movie effect, pencil sketch etc. The effects can be applied to the currently viewed image, allowing you to quickly see how each image would look with a certain effect applied to them.
The effect can be copied to clipholder Ctrl + C or you can save it on your file system. The effect will also be applied when setting image as a wallpaper or lock screen image.

File management
Copy Ctrl + Shift + C, Move Ctrl + X, Paste Ctrl + V images, file paths, web addresses or base64 images.

Open file in another application E.

Rename or move files in the titlebar by pressing F2

Save and convert files Ctrl + S.

Send file to the recycle bin Del or permanently delete it Shift + Delete.

View file details Ctrl + I.

Show file in folder F3.
