MVC Bootcamp

#OVERVIEW

Need to get up to speed on ASP.NET MVC2 to write your next application? In this workshop we will drill down on the different pieces that make up this presentation pattern as well as cover other tools and frameworks that help mainstream ASP.NET MVC development. Also, during the workshop we will build a full working URL shortening application, miniUrl, that can be used for reference or profit! Whether you are new to MVC2 or already have played with the bits, this session is worth checking out.

#INSTRUCTOR

Javier is an ASP.NET Insider and MVP that specializes in ASP.NET, system architecture, and training. He has helped co-found the Iowa .NET Users Group, Iowa Code Camp, Community for MVC and MvcConf.

On his blog you can find posts on ASP.NET, Silverlight, architecture, and design patterns just to name a few topics. Javier is an avid supporter of the community and likes to give back by speaking at user groups, local/regional .NET events, participating in forums, and by writing articles. In his spare time, Javier loves spending time with his family and enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
