The Viscera Reality Generator

This program will serve as the predecessor to a series of games set in the Viscerish IP (e.g., State of Nature, Bellacosis, Bellacose Cell). The engine contains the core game mechanics for a side-scrolling turn-based tactical game.
Features include:
Fun gameplay---especially important
Several unique character skills
Simple physics/ chain reactions
Character pathfinding over multiple floors
Procedural generation of objects' locations
Character creation/ customization system
Several different equippable weapons
User interface that is easily useable on all platforms.
No aesthetic consideration needed at this stage; all art assets are placeholders.
