Sequence

A multiple instance and thread safe unique number sequence generator.

Replicates the create sequence transact-SQL functionality (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff878091.aspx) in a .Net assembly.

What's the point?

The 'Create Sequence' command is not supported on Sql Azure: (https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/723601/support-native-sequences-in-sql-azure)

You can now use any Sql or NoSql database to store your sequence. Just implement IStateStore.

When using Azure table storage as the store state

Install
