Badges project with Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems (SA&FS)

Badges is an ASP.NET MVC application which runs on Windows Azure. The technology stack includes:

• Visual Studio 2012
• ASP.NET MVC 4
• NHibernate 3.3
• SQL Server (compatible with SQL Azure, as well as SQLExpress)
• Azure Blob Storage for file storage

To get a development version of badges running yourself, follow these steps

1. You will need Visual Studio installed, 2012 or 2013 should work. Free web edition should be fine, see http://www.visualstudio.com/downloads/download-visual-studio-vs
2. The code for Badges is located at https://github.com/ucdavis/Badges and is Open Source under the MPL.
