CloudPrintingService

Build Status

A sample working MicroService using Star Micronics Utility Package for dotnet core 2.1. Base on the documentation: https://star-m.jp/products/s_print/CloudPRNTSDK/Documentation/en/developerguide/introduction.html. It also includes dockerfiles and swagger so you can deploy straight to your server a sample working app.

Set up your dev env

  • open cloudprintingservice.sln with Visual Studio, Rider, or your preferred IDE.
  • run the app

Build a new image

Change fredywhatley below to your company's docker account name.

# build image fredywhatley/cloudprintingservice:tagname
docker build -f Dockerfile -t fredywhatley/cloudprintingservice:2.0.0 . # make sure to update the tag

# push to docker central with push fredywhatley/cloudprintingservice:tagname
docker login
docker push fredywhatley/cloudprintingservice:2.0.0 # tag must match what you used above
docker pull fredywhatley/cloudprintingservice:2.0.0 # tag must match what you used above

Serve production build locally

Run

docker-compose up # app will be served at http://localhost:5000
docker run -p 80:80 fredywhatley/cloudprinting:2.0.0 # server with docker locally or in host, use -d for detached mode

Other helpful commands

# run detached and rebuild, -d and --build are optional, --build is required when app needs to be rebuilt
docker-compose up -d --build

# stop and remove containers
docker-compose down

Notes

  • for more details see the Dockerfile.yml and docker-compose.yml
